Louisiana Outpouring is about walking in the Now Word of God. One of the "now words" is "identity". Here are a few points on walking in the now.
There is a battle over our identity, but what Adam lost, Jesus restored!
- Image - 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "We with open face are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." Natural begets natural, but God's Spirit begets spirit.
- Spiritual Dominion - Luke 10:19 - "Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Don't let the devil talk you out or your inheritance. See John 1:12, Genesis 1:28.
- Relationship with God - Sin separated, made a veil, expelled from the garden - stole identity and position. - 1 Corinthians 1:9 - "God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." See 2 Peter 1:4.
- Faithfulness - John 15:5 - "I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit."
- Paradise - Revelation 2:7 - "…to him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God."
- Perfection - Hebrews 6:1-3 - "…let us go on to perfection…"
- Glory of God - Haggai 2:7, 9 - "I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, and in this place will I give peace."
- Families - Malachi 4:5-6 - "…and He shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers…" See Isaiah 58:12.
- Truth - John 8:32 - "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." See John 16:13, 2 Peter 1:12, 1 John 1:7.
- Unity - Nehemiah 9:32, 10:1, 28-30, 39 - This is the church triumphant!
